Business Women's Association

of Halifax County

 

History

For many years the Business Women's Association of Halifax County was operated as the Tri-River Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA).  In 2009, however, it was decided, for purely economic reasons, to split from the ABWA and form our own local organization.

The membership is still the same, just the organization name has changed.  We run the same annual events and we are happy to say that we continue to sponsor our annual scholarship drive.
